Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the rules for the registration for GoGlobal South Program and the terms and conditions for the attendance at the above mentioned event.
APDEIT reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted on this website. Applicable from September, 2026.
1. DEFINITIONS
Agreement: means the agreement between you and GoGlobal regarding the registration for GoGlobal South Program, including these Terms and Conditions.
Website: the GoGlobal.ro website
APDEIT: Asociatia Pro Digitalizare si Etica in Tehnologie is the official organizer of the GoGlobal, a Romanian NGO, headquartered in Bucharest, Aleea Suter no 17.
You: means every legal entity or natural person that enters into an agreement with APDEIT by registering for GoGlobal.
2. TERMS & CONDITIONS
Deviations from these Terms and Conditions shall only apply when agreed in writing between You and APDEIT.
The applicability of any of your purchasing or other general terms and conditions is expressly rejected, unless agreed otherwise by APDEIT in writing. By registering for an Event You agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
APDEIT has provided You with these Terms and Conditions before concluding the Agreement. The Terms and Conditions can be consulted via the Website www.goglobal.ro/terms-and-conditions/.
3. DECLARATION OF CONSENT
I hereby give my consent for APDEIT to collect, process and use my personal data for the purposes of processing the registration and for any other use to which I have consented, including the importation of contact information for which I have provided my explicit prior consent.
4. APPLICATION POLICY
Delivery Policy
Once a successful application form has been completed, a response will be delivered via email to the email address nominated in the form.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations of registration or changes will be facilitated upon request via email at [email protected].

5. PROGRAM POLICY
Age Limit
If You are under the age of 18 You are not allowed to apply for GoGlobal, unless permission is provided by APDEIT under the conditions set by APDEIT.
Intelectual Property
The confirmation of a registration to the program does not grant you permission to use any intellectual property, including logo, website, trademark or any other proprietary right of APDEIT or any third party, such as partners.
6. PERSONAL INFORMATION
When personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number) is provided through the GoGlobal website you give consent to APDEIT for:
- Processing and managing your personal data to perform all necessary actions to give effect to your request or instructions
- Retaining a record of all relevant communications (e.g. email) to process your request or instructions
- APDEIT may also collect the following information about you:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site.
- Email address and telephone numbers
- Social Media profiles, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin
If you contact us we may keep a record of that correspondence.
Information we receive from credit reference and fraud detection agencies or other third parties we may use to verify your information. We may ask you to complete surveys for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
Use of Personal Data for Advertising Purposes
APDEIT will not share your address, e-mail address or personal information to any third party without your permission. You hereby give your consent for GoGlobal to store the following types of data as a profile for internal purposes:
- Mandatory and voluntary data collected when registering.
- Voluntary disclosures when participating in online surveys.
- Data collected from any connected social media for which you have provided my explicit prior consent.
APDEIT may use collected data for marketing and communication purposes, statistics and third party communication. APDEIT shall disclose your contact information (such as: name, company, telephone number and e-mail) to third-party partners for you to receive information on opportunities addressed to startups.
You may choose to change your preferences or opt-out from future communication, by sending us an email at [email protected].
Right of Access
You have a right to be given a copy of any of your personal data held by APDEIT in accordance with section 4 of the Data Protection Acts subject to certain exceptions. Requests for a copy of your personal data can be emailed to [email protected] or addressed to: APDEIT, Aleea Suter 17, Bucharest.
Right of Rectification or Erasure
If APDEIT holds incorrect information about you which was originally submitted by you through the GoGlobal website, you have the right to have the data amended. Further, you have the right to have any information you have sent to us via this website erased.
To request your right to rectification and/or erasure please send your request to [email protected] or, in writing, addressed to: APDEIT, Aleea Suter 17, Bucharest.
Requests should include:
- Your name and address.
- A description of the specific personal data you wish rectified/ erased.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, APDEIT cannot guarantee its absolute security and cannot accept any liability where the security of your Personal Information is compromised.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
APDEIT reserves the right to modify this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent at any time. Any changes will be posted on the GoGLobal.ro website and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of the changes.

8. EVENT CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT POLICY
APDEIT is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration, cancellation or postponement of an event. APDEIT shall assume no liability whatsoever in the circumstances that an event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of an event impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.
9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
You agree to be fully responsible for (and fully indemnify us against) all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, suffered by us and arising out of any breach of the terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your use of the website, or use by any other person accessing the website using your pc or internet access account.
The Agreement between You and APDEIT, these Terms and Conditions, the Data Protection Declaration are exclusively governed by the Romanian law.
Any dispute arising from the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions or the Data Protection Declaration and Privacy Notice will be submitted to the competent Romanian Courts.
